Tonight we had a ‘bring back the dead’ themed fund raising night at our The Antelope where our DJ Goodall racked up some wicked tunage as we handed out some skittle infused vodka shots and raked in some munnies for June 12th!
Yes on June 8th I summon thee to the bucks degree show! Please hunt down hypereal and look at their fab work. There’s no place like London

On notcot today I came across a guy called Oscar Woodruff who draws the most gorgeous illustrations, a-sketch-a-day.

I found I have recently got back into drawing and painting, every time I have come across a piece of beautiful design work I pine a little and use the infamous excuse of never having enough time to do anything. So my new mission is to forge time to produce some art worx! Here is a more recent sketch of mine:

On Woodruff’s blog I also came across a youtube clip of Alice in Wonderland that inspired one of his works.
It reminded me how one of Disney’s fantastical creations had fascinated me as a child, my dad threw it away along with Dumbo and I could never understand why! I had loved them! He said I had looked petrified. When I watched the film over a break home in Yorkshire it really did disturb me! However, I realise now the more a piece of film can toy with my emotions the more brilliant I find it
